Chicago area real estate statistics for residential and commercial properties have been updated.  https://realtyevolved.net/residential-commercial-distressed-chicago-real-estate/

Current inventory from one year ago is down across several categories as well as properties sold, and residential is lower from month before.

With last week’s jobs report, nonfarm payroll employment added 54,000 job, business and professional services added 44,000, manufacturing -5,000 and healthcare 17,000.  The current unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 9.1%.  Biggest concerns are individuals who are underemployed; jobs growth is one of the essential factors for home buyers to return to market which is currently dominated by investors.  View the full May 2011 jobs report.
