Evolving Metrics: Chicago Downtown/Loop and Lincoln Park

The months supply of inventory (MSI) for both Lincoln Park and Loop as referred to in earlier post – “Deciphering the Data”  Page one is for the Loop, page two for Lincoln Park.

The MSI solely by itself should not be used to judge the general health of a market.  Surges in contracts written (as occurred during the expiration of the tax credit), or lower overall inventory for a short amount of time can influence the numbers.
